Students are encouraged to engage in physical education and for the overall development of personality. They are encouraged to participate in inter college competitions and also offer themselves for selection to the University team. The Cricket and Football grounds and the indoor sporting faculties are provided.
On the occasion of Geneva Convention Day Osteoarthritis Awareness programme was conducted on 12th AUG-2017 at Sree Sadguru Kabeerananda Swamy Old Age Home, and Shakti Old Age Home at Chitradurga in association with Indian Red Cross Society Chitrdurga District Branch and NSS SJM College of Pharmacy.
Independence Day was celebrated on 15th AUG-2017 by students, Principal and Staffs along with Our Poojya Dr. Shivamurthy Sharanaru President SJM Vidyapeetha, at SJM Campus, Chitradurga.
On occasion of Vanmahotsava, Medicinal plants plantation programme was organized at Oushadha Vana of SJM college of Pharmacy. NSS Volunteers and staffs were involved in plantation on19th AUG- 2017 and celebrated Vanmahotsava-2017.
Sadbhavana Diwas (Harmony Day) was celebrated by staffs and students of SJMCP on 24th AUG-2017. Sadbhavana diwas importance was detailed and Pledge was taken in order to lead a harmony life with in the campus, community and society.
Nutritional Awareness program was organized on behalf of World Nutritional Week on 1st SEP-2017 at Navodhya School, Chitradurga. Pharm D students and staffs of SJMCP brought awareness among school children’s with respect to nutritional value of foods in their daily living.
NSS volunteers, Students, Staffs of SJMCP celebrated Onam and Teachers day at SJM College of Pharmacy on 05th SEP-2017.
Swachhata Hi Seva program was conducted for students and staffs of SJMCP on 27th SEP-2017. Importance of Hand washing was presented and Cleanliness Pledge was taken.
Swachhata abhiyan program was conducted by students and staffs of SJMCP on 7th OCT-2017 on behalf of Gandhi Jayanti. Cleanliness Pledge was taken by all the participants.
NSS annual camp was conducted at Kodayyanahatti by SJM College of pharmacy, NSS volunteers, in collaboration with RGUHS Bangalore.
The annual special camp was started with Rally & inaugurated by Sri Thimmanna, Grama Panchayat member MK Hatti, in the presence of Sri Rudresh, villager, Sri Rajakumar, Teacher Govt. primary school, Kodayyanahatti, Sri Nataraj G R, NSS officer, faculty of SJM College of pharmacy and chair person Dr. Bharathi DR, Principal SJM College of pharmacy Chitradurga.
NSS flag hosting was done by chief guest Sri Rajakumar, Govt. primary school teacher, Kodayyanahatti and NSS volunteers. School campus and surrounding was cleaned by NSS volunteers.
Program was started at 4 pm in the presence of chair person Sri Nagappa, Alumni Govt. primary school kodayyanahatti and Sri Abhinandan Munnolli Asst. Professor, SJM College of Pharmacy. Dr. Priyanka N, Asst. Professor, SJMCP delivered special lecture on “Importance of vaccination ’’, followed by cultural activities by NSS volunteers.
Sri Nijaguna, Grama Panchayat member MK Hatti, hosted NSS flag. NSS volunteers cleaned main streets of village and open drainage of streets.
In the evening program Kumari Vaishnavi S. Students of SJMCP gave lecture on HIV/AIDS and its symptoms, mode of transmission, preventive measures and treatment to village residents. Sri Nagappa, Alumni Govt. primary school kodayyanahatti, addressed villagers about NSS, followed by cultural events by NSS volunteers and students.
Flag hosting was done by Sri Thimmanna, Grama Panchayat member MK Hatti and Sri Rudresh, villager with NSS volunteers. Free medical camp (General health check up) was conducted by Dr. Gous Pasha and team from Basaveshwara medical college and hospital, Chitradurga. More than 100 village residents were benefited by the camp.
Miss Vaishnavi S. student of our college addressed lecture on importance of medicinal plants to village residents in the evening program followed by cultural activities by NSS volunteers and students. The program was presided by Sri Thimmanna, Grama Panchayat member MK Hatti in presence Dr. Basavaraja H S.
Sri Nagappa, Alumni Govt. primary school kodayyanahatti hosted NSS flag with NSS volunteers. Mahila Bhavan of Kodayyanahatti was cleaned by NSS volunteers. Free dental check up camp was conducted by Dr. Sachin and team from SJM dental college, Chitradurga. Village residents and school students were benefited by the camp.

Professor, delivered lecture on Nutrition and health to village residents and school students in the evening program followed by cultural events by NSS volunteers and students. The program was presided by Sri Nagappa, Alumni Govt. primary school kodayyanahatti in presence of Sri Suban Sab Asst. Professor SJMCP Chitradurga.
Flag hosting was done by Sri Kiran Kumar, Resident of Kodayyanahatti with NSS volunteers. Surrounding area of temple was cleaned by NSS volunteers.
Sri Majhar Ulla addressed lecture on importance of blood donation to village residents followed by cultural activities by NSS volunteers. The evening program was presided by Miss. Sharvani Hugar in presence of Sri Keshva KS.
Sri Gurumurthy, village resident hosted NSS flag with NSS volunteers. Survey of health and availability and utility of toilets by villagers was done by NSS volunteers. School campus was also cleaned by volunteers.
